An Introduction

This is a blog for showcasing my Julip model horse collection. If you haven't heard of Julips before, the creatively named Julip Identification is a good place to learn more than you ever wanted to know about these latex equine models.

There is something about Julip models which seems to take the majority of us right back to our childhood and the days of playing ponies. I've found them a welcome relief from the competitive spirit and drive for ultra-realism in the Live Show community.

Like other collectors in the hobby, we don't think our models are real; we simply use them to create an idealistic miniature world as a welcome break from the stress of everyday life. It's basically dollhouses with an equine focus.

The desire to create stories around the characters in our collections and the elaborate sets we've created is a natural evolution. This is my space for sharing the stories inspired by my fictional stable, Farfrae Farm.
