Julip Live 2019 - Traveling

This was the year I finally made it down to Julip Live. I drove down to Magda's on Thursday evening and we took the train down to Oxford from Edinburgh Friday morning. The trip actually went quite smoothly, and we arrived in Stroud in the late afternoon where we were picked up by some hobby friends who had very kindly invited us to stay with them and carpool to the show.

Adventures with Black Mountain Koshari Katsina

For Spring Break 2017, we headed up to Aviemore for a few days of sightseeing.

Travels with Oathlaw Galahad, aka Jaime

Every year we have several vintage shows which we attend with some of our big toys. For the 2016 Scone Yesteryear show I took Oathlaw Galahad, otherwise known as Jaime, for some fun photos.

Folks seemed to get a kick out of him and were tickled with the pictures I was taking in the junk stalls and around the show.

The Adventures of Southern Gothic Zirondelle - Bus Trip

In 2016 I needed to travel from Kirriemuir to Crieff to retrieve my jeep, Spot, from the dealership where he had been undergoing some rather extensive surgery. It's not what I would consider a particularly long journey, but it's a fairly tedious one from Kirrie as it involves changing buses in three towns. To while away the time with something other than the usual book, I brought Zirondelle along to attempt my first travel story.

We're just about to leave Kirrie and head to Alyth (a favourite location for fish n chips)
