Julip Live 2019 - Photobombing
Christine was supposed to make the trip down with us, but was suffering so badly from her sciatica that she wasn't able for the journey. She sent some photo cut-outs of herself down to Tomás, which I quickly appropriated and immediately got slightly carried away.

We got up and out the door in good time for our hour drive to Littlemore. After threatening our phones a bit, we managed to get the GPS to cooperate and we made it to the hall with very few detours.

Julip Live 2019 - Traveling
This was the year I finally made it down to Julip Live. I drove down to Magda's on Thursday evening and we took the train down to Oxford from Edinburgh Friday morning. The trip actually went quite smoothly, and we arrived in Stroud in the late afternoon where we were picked up by some hobby friends who had very kindly invited us to stay with them and carpool to the show.

Julip Live Spares by Proxy
I've wanted to attend Julip Live since I started collecting Julips, but have yet to manage to make the trek down south. I thought this might be my year until my cousin set the date for her wedding; it was too close to show time and the trip to Texas was too expensive to allow another holiday. Maybe I'll make it down next year.
In 2016 Miss Stacey agreed to be my Spares Frenzy proxy and a few days after the show a parcel arrived with the pinto Connemara, Pandemonium By Proxy, and a few friends.
