One of the new-to-me exhibits was the blessedly indoors and air-conditioned walk through Texas.

We had beaver in the creek behind our
suburban house when I was growing up

We also had a massive skunk colony
in the neighbour hood. One even
came in through our cat door once.

And the raccoons used to rip the shingles off
our house and then wreck havoc in
the attic.
